Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Argo Utomo (“we”, “us”), trading as Pillko, processes personal data when you use our iOS app Pillko (“App”) and our website https://pillko.com (“Website”). We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law.

3. Scope
The App does not require you to create an account with us. Most information you enter in the App stays on your device unless you enable a feature that syncs or sends data elsewhere (update this sentence if you add cloud sync, accounts, or analytics).
4. Data we may process
4.1 App usage (on-device)
Data you add in the App (for example schedules, reminders, or notes you choose to store) is primarily processed locally on your iPhone. We do not intend to access the contents of your health or medication entries on our servers unless you use a feature that explicitly uploads or syncs that data (adjust if your product changes).
4.2 Website
When you visit the Website, our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, date/time of access, and pages viewed, for security and operation of the site.
4.3 Support
If you email us at info@pillko.com, we process your email address, message content, and any attachments you send, to handle your request.
4.4 Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We may receive limited information from Apple (for example that a purchase occurred, product identifier, and country/region), but we do not receive your full payment card number.
4.5 Optional analytics or diagnostics
If we use analytics or crash reporting, we process only the categories of data described in the App (or in system settings) and in an updated version of this policy.
5. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Providing the App and Website — performance of our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, legitimate interests in operating and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Support — legitimate interests / contract (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f)).
- Compliance and security — legal obligation or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(c) or (f)).
- Marketing — only if you opt in (Art. 6(1)(a)); we do not require marketing to use the App.
6. Sensitive data
Health-related information you enter in the App may be considered special category data under GDPR where it concerns health. Where such data is processed only locally on your device by you, our role may be limited to providing the software. If we process health data on our systems, we rely on applicable legal bases (for example explicit consent or reasons under Art. 9(2) GDPR). Adjust this section to match your actual architecture.
7. Recipients and processors
We use service providers where needed (for example website hosting, email). They process data on our instructions (processors under GDPR). Apple processes payment and App Store data under its own terms.
8. International transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards (for example Standard Contractual Clauses) where required by GDPR.
9. Retention
We keep support emails as long as needed to resolve your request and then for a limited period for legal or operational purposes unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security. On-device data remains under your control until you delete the App or data in the App.
10. Your rights
Depending on your situation, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
11. Children
The App is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required for data processing in your jurisdiction. If you believe we have processed a child’s data inappropriately, contact us.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change, and we will post the new version on the Website. Significant changes may be communicated in the App where practical.
